Halloween Playhouse Party

The weather is finally feeling like fall around here, so I decided it would be fun to invite over Elizabeth's cousins for a little photo shoot play date outside today! I snagged some of my favorite Halloween items at the shop and set them up to help inspire you to do the same. I kept it super simple, using cute party supplies can make a table setting easy and fun. Here are some pics!

Having a variety of plates and/or napkins in your table setting adds a fun element. Plus, we have so many options, it's hard to pick just one! The broom flatware is my favorite - how cute for a witch's tea party. Trays and cake stands are great for displaying food and decor - we have some great affordable bamboo options for both that are reusable. Candles, pumpkins, themed candy, and books work well for table decor. I love the new That Witch book because it's a fun activity for the guests, plus it's pretty. It also pairs well with Cassandra the witch doll. I will link everything in the pictures at the end of the blog post! For a Halloween play date, pumpkin decorating, coloring sheets, Halloween craft kits (we have 1 left!), and cookie decorating are easy activities for children.

Our playhouse is KidKraft from a few years ago (linked the current version - it's on sale!) and we painted it white with pink accents. Our daughters have fun with it, and it's been a cute backdrop for photo shoots and parties. To decorate it, I used one of the new flags we have in store (we aren't able to sell online, but you can always reach out to order!). Air filled balloons are also an easy and affordable way to decorate a small setup, especially the stand alone ones like that Haunted House.

Snacks I kept very simple since this was an on the whim setup. I used some festive Halloween hot chocolate bombs and Jack'O'Lantern JoJos from Trader Joe's - they have great holiday themed treats and house kits for things like this.

It was a fun little after school play date for these silly witches, and truly it didn't take much effort! Grab some favorite finds from the shop, invite over a friend or two, and enjoy the nice weather!
